Here are the nine colours of Navratri that you dress up in one of these colours every day 

Day 1: Shailaputri

Known as the Pratipada, Shailaputri is worshipped on this day. Goddess Parvati is the daughter of Himalaya, the mountain.

Day 2:Brahmacharini

Known as the Pratipada, Shailaputri is worshipped on this day. Goddess Parvati is the daughter of Himalaya, the mountain.

Day 3: Chandraghantai

After getting married to lord shiva, Goddess Parvati adorned her forhead with half-chandra, hence she is know as goddess Chandraghanta

Day 4: Kushmanda

Devi Kushmanda is worshipped. Also known as the creator of the universe,

Day 5: Skandamata

The mother of Skanda, Karttikeya, born out of her Power

Day 6: Katyayini

In order to destroy mahishasura, Goddess Parvati took the form of Goddess Katyayini

Day 7: Kalaratri

When the Goddess Parvati removed her fair skin to kill the demons named Shumbha and Nishumbha, she became knows as Goddess Kalaratri

Day 8: Mahagauri

The wife of Lord Shiva, doing great penance. Mahagauri means extremely white. The name derives from the fact that Parvati had a fair complexion. Here she rides a bull and has four hands.

Day 9: Siddhidaatri

The last day of the festival also known as Navami, people pray to Devi Siddhidaatri. Sitting on a lotus, she is believed to possess and bestows all type of Siddhis. Here she has four hands.
